Baseball Recap: Mount Si Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Mount Si Wildcats didn't have quite enough to beat the Gonzaga Prep Bullpups and fell 7-5. The loss was the Wildcats' first of the season.

Taylor Davis made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Preston Przybylski, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mount Si fell to 2-1.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Mount Si Wildcats face off against North Creek Jaguars at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. This will be Mount Si's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Gonzaga Prep, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 8-1 win against Seattle Prep on the 15th.
