John Jay put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Arlington Admirals by a score of 6-2. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Admirals, too.

Landon Seipp tossed a big game, striking out six batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Marc Cretara was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs. That home run was his first of the season. Ayden Vitale was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

John Jay's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Arlington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Looking ahead, John Jay will welcome North Rockland at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Raiders will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last. As for Arlington, they will challenge Hendrick Hudson at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
