Softball Recap: Pittsburg Drops Highest Score of Season Against Paris

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pittsburg). They never let the Paris Wildcats get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Pirates as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Pittsburg's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Paris, they are on a 31-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pittsburg is set to face off against their familiar foe North Lamar at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Paris will take on rival Pleasant Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
