East Rowan took down Pine Lake Prep on Friday, a win that might not have happened without Ashur Tesh's standout effort. The Pride had no answer to Tesh as he made ten total tackles (1.0 for loss) and snagged an interception which he returned for a touchdown. Tesh has been hot, having posted five or more total tackles the last seven times he's played.

Looking ahead, Tesh and East Rowan will head out on the road to take on Piedmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will enter the matchup having just beaten South Stanly, so the Mustangs will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
