Basketball Recap: Needville Takes a Loss

Needville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They lost 46-26 to the Wharton Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bluejays this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-29 on January 3rd.

Needville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-22. As for Wharton, their victory bumped their record up to 10-19.

When Needville and Wharton next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Needville will face off against Columbia and their three-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Wharton will try to stop Bay City's nine-game winning streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
