Softball Recap: Williams Bay Comes Up Short

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Williams Bay and Deerfield have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Bulldogs lost 13-0 to the Demons. Unfortunately, that's the fifth time they've come up short against the Demons this season, with their most recent defeat being a 19-0 loss back in April.

Williams Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Deerfield, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-3.

Coming up, Williams Bay will be playing at home against Palmyra-Eagle at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Deerfield, they are taking a road trip to take on Lomira at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
