Baseball Recap: Hatley Takes a Loss

Hatley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the West Harrison Hurricanes. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly two runs.

Hatley now has a losing record of 7-8. As for West Harrison, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Hatley Tigers face off against Canton Academy Panthers at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Canton Academy will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for West Harrison, they will face off against Pope John Paul II at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
