Windsor had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Montgomery Vikings 2-1. Given the Jaguars' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 176th, while the Vikings are ranked 477th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Windsor is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4-2 record this season. As for Montgomery, they dropped their record down to 3-6-6 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Windsor challenge the Ukiah at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Windsor's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Montgomery, they will be playing at home against Rancho Cotate at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Montgomery is facing Rancho Cotate at the right time seeing as Rancho Cotate is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
