Softball Recap: McLaurin Comes Up Short

McLaurin lost against Pelahatchie back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers lost 13-1 to the Chiefs. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McLaurin's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Pelahatchie, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.

McLaurin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pelahatchie, they will be playing at home against Loyd Star at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Chiefs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
