Softball Recap: Wilson Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wilson can now relate to. They came up short against the King/Drew Golden Eagles on Friday, falling 19-1. The Mules were not able to make up for their loss to the Golden Eagles from their previous meeting back in March of 2015.

Wilson dropped their record down to 8-15 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for King/Drew, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-14.

Wilson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for King/Drew, they are taking a road trip to square off against Taft at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Toreadors will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Golden Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
