Volleyball Recap: Cuthbertson Takes a Loss

Cuthbertson lost to Marvin Ridge back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cavaliers lost 3-0 to the Mavericks. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Cuthbertson ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-18.

Cuthbertson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Marvin Ridge, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Cuthbertson will challenge rival Covenant Day at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Marvin Ridge is set to square off against their familiar foe Providence at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
