Softball Recap: Somerset Comes Up Short

Somerset lost against Rockcastle County last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Briar Jumpers fell 4-1 to the Rockets. The Briar Jumpers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Somerset's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Rockcastle County, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Somerset will challenge Casey County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Rockcastle County, they will take on North Laurel at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Jaguars will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Rockets surely won't give up without a fight.
