Volleyball Recap: Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy Takes Down Ranked Upperman

Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy faced Upperman in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Archers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bees. The win was familiar territory for the Archers, who have now won three games in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-9.

Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Upperman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.
