Volleyball Recap: Moreno Valley Victorious

Moreno Valley's tournament run continued when they took on Vasquez on Saturday. The Moreno Valley Vikings had just enough and edged out the Vasquez Mustangs 2-1.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Moreno Valley who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-22, 23-25, 15-9.

Moreno Valley has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season. Vasquez's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-2.

Moreno Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against San Dimas on the 8th. As for Vasquez, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Beaumont on the 8th.
