Softball Recap: Elgin Comets vs. Upper Scioto Valley Rams

Elgin won the last time they faced Upper Scioto Valley and things went their way on Monday too. The Comets walked away with an 8-4 win over the Rams. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Comets.

Madison Hill made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one double.
