Soccer Recap: Geneseo's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

After flying high against Mount Morris on Wednesday, Geneseo came back down to earth. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Avon Braves by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. Surprisingly, this marked Geneseo's fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Geneseo's loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-3. As for Avon, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Geneseo will host York/Pavilion at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Avon, they will venture away from home to challenge Pavilion at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
