Basketball Recap: Pennfield Finds Home Court Redemption Against Galesburg-Augusta

There's no place like home for Pennfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Galesburg-Augusta Rams by a score of 48-38 on Monday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Panthers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 425th, while the Rams are ranked 209th).

Pennfield pushed their record up to 6-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.0 points per game. As for Galesburg-Augusta, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.

As for Galesburg-Augusta, they will venture away from home to challenge Michigan Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
