Basketball Recap: West Rowan Skates Past Community School of Davidson with Ease

West Rowan won against Davie County on Wednesday with 61 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Falcons breezed past the Community School of Davidson Spartans to the tune of 61-34. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 56-34 win the Spartans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Community School of Davidson lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ella Tomko, who posted 12 points. Mckinley Ferrucci was another key player, putting up eight points.

West Rowan's record is now 2-0. As for Community School of Davidson, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, West Rowan will head out to challenge North Rowan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Community School of Davidson, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Surry Central at 6:00 p.m. on December 2.
