Baseball Recap: Tri-City Comes Up Short

Tri-City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Lincolnwood Lancers, falling 10-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-1 on Tuesday.

Tri-City's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Lincolnwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Tri-City will take on Cerro Gordo at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lincolnwood, they will challenge Okaw Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
