Soccer Recap: Rootstown Find Success

Rootstown won the last time they faced Canton Central Catholic and things went their way on Thursday too. The Rovers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Crusaders. Rootstown found success even though the refs didn't miss a thing: Daniell Strebler and Alex Pastor were both handed yellow cards.

Dylan Boland and Sam Textor scored all three of Rootstown's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

The victory made it two in a row for Rootstown and bumps their season record up to 4-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those two matches. As for Canton Central Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
