Basketball Game Preview: Parkway Panthers vs. Russia Raiders

The Parkway Panthers will square off against the Russia Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Parkway has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Parkway challenged Spencerville on Saturday. Parkway snuck past Spencerville with a 40-34 victory.

Meanwhile, Russia beat Waynesville 53-43 on Monday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Raiders' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 280th, while the Spartans are ranked 68th).

Parkway is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.3 points per game. As for Russia, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.
