Recap: Petrides vs. Long Island City Bulldogs
The Petrides put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 20-12 win over Long Island City. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Petrides also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2019.
Despite the loss, Long Island City still got an impressive performance from Carter Dumas, who rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.
Petrides' victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 6-0. Even more impressive is the teams they beat to make that streak: Long Island City, Springfield Gardens, and Martin. As for Long Island City, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2-1.
Petrides will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Washington at 12:00 p.m. on November 11th. As for Long Island City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tilden at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
