Owen won the last time they faced Mitchell and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Warhorses' defense stepped up to hand the Mountaineers a 9-0 shutout. Owen might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by four goals or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Owen and bumps their season record up to 6-5-1. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-10 Mitchell and 1-10-1 Draughn. As for Mitchell, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Owen will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Brevard at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Mitchell, they will venture away from home to challenge Draughn at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
