Softball Recap: Westerville North Comes Up Short

Westerville North's last matchup with Dublin Coffman could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Friday. The Warriors lost 17-1 to the Shamrocks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 7-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2019.

Westerville North has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for Dublin Coffman, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-9.

Coming up, Westerville North will be playing at home against Licking Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dublin Coffman, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-5 win against Dublin Scioto on the 10th.
