Basketball Recap: Arthur County Takes a Loss

Arthur County lost against Wauneta-Palisade back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Arthur County Wolves took a 57-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wauneta-Palisade Broncos.

Leading Wauneta-Palisade to victory were Ashton Wheeler and Aden Acton. Wheeler went 10-for-25 en route to 27 points along with six boards and four steals, while Acton dropped a double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds. Those 15 rebounds gave Acton a new career-high. Nathan Blackman was another key player, putting up three points and seven assists.

Arthur County's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Wauneta-Palisade, their record is now 3-17.

As of now, neither Arthur County nor Wauneta-Palisade have any future games scheduled.
