Warren hadn't done well against Hamburg recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Lumberjacks were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Lions. The Lumberjacks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

Raeleigh Milton made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Milton was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, Haven Johnson was a standout: she scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Blythe Calloway, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Warren always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .553. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hamburg only posted an OBP of .333.

Warren's record now sits at 10-2. As for Hamburg, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Looking ahead, Warren will challenge Watson Chapel at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hamburg, they will be playing at home against Camden Fairview at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
