Baseball Recap: Perrin-Whitt Triumphs

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Perrin-Whitt ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Saint Jo Panthers 7-6. The Pirates' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Case Lambert and Noah Morris did most of the damage at the plate: Lambert scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Morris scored three runs while going 3-for-4. Those hits marked the first that Morris got this season.
