Volleyball Recap: Rossville Bulldogs vs. Pleasant Ridge Rams
Rossville won the last time they faced Pleasant Ridge, and things went their way on Saturday too. The Rossville Bulldogs came out on top against the Pleasant Ridge Rams by a score of 2-0.
Rossville easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-20.
Nora Burdiek paced Rossville's offense, picking up 13 kills. Burdiek got some help from
Beatrice D'Angelou and her 17 assists.
Sydney Sumner controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Rossville is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-18 record this season. As for Pleasant Ridge, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-14-1.
