Drew McClain and DJ Beckwith provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Plankinton. The connection went for 67 yards, the longest such play in 281 (9 Man) this season.

Wolsey-Wessington extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central, 40-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Warbirds.

Sunshine Bible Academy's dynamic duo of McClain and Beckwith proved tough for the Pirates to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. McClain threw for 153 yards and one touchdown and Beckwith had 93 yards receiving. Brian Ladue helped Sunshine Bible Academy's passing attack out by catching two balls for 56 yards.

Roy Lumpkin was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 13 carries, he ran for 217 yards as Wolsey-Wessington bested Plankinton. Ryne Johnson also contributed to the rushing game with 104 yards on the ground.

Sunshine Bible Academy's Brady Brockel and Beckwith have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading 281 (9 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. Brockel has thrown for 238 yards this season, while Beckwith, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has nine catches for 199 yards. Gordon Hooks' team's Lumpkin leads the league in rushing yards with 839.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Jamie Mcclain's team takes on Highmore/Harrold. The Crusaders are currently in fourth, while Highmore/Harrold is in fifth.

Hitchcock-Tulare took down Jim Jones' team 52-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
