Basketball Recap: Prouty's Loss Ends Eight-Game Winning Streak at Home

Prouty entered their game against Millbury on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Prouty Panthers lost 61-35 to the Millbury Woolies. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Prouty's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-4. As for Millbury, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Prouty and Millbury should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings. Prouty will take on University Park at 6:30 p.m. on Monday up 167 places (118 vs. 285). Prouty will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak dating back to last season alive. Similarly, Millbury (ranked 26th) will meet Uxbridge (ranked 113th) at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
