Baseball Recap: Wakefield School Comes Up Short

Wakefield School was the 7-6 winner over Washington-Liberty when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Fighting Owls fell just short of the Generals by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. Fighting Owls fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Generals since Thursday.

Wakefield School now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Washington-Liberty, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-7 record.

Looking ahead, Wakefield School will face off against Broad Run at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Washington-Liberty, they have already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Wakefield on the 9th.
