Soccer Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Clearfield

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clearfield). Their defense stepped up to hand the Chestnut Ridge Lions a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Mia Smith as she scored four goals for her team.

The win (which was Clearfield's fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those five contests. As for Chestnut Ridge, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
