Lockland is 8-2 against New Miami since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Panthers will venture away from home to take on the Vikings at 5:00 p.m. Lockland is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.7 runs per game this season.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Lockland turned things around against North College Hill on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 20-0 margin over the Trojans. The contest marked the Panthers' most dominant win of the season.

The team relied heavily on Jaylah Smith, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, two stolen bases, and five RBI. What's more, she posted three runs, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Liselle Bradford, who went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Lockland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .564. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Meanwhile, New Miami was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Twin Valley South, falling 21-11.

Lockland's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for New Miami, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything went Lockland's way against New Miami when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Lockland made off with a 22-11 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
