Softball Recap: Averill Park Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Averill Park can now relate to. They fell just short of the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Averill Park's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Averill Park nor Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake have any future games scheduled.
