Basketball Recap: Reavis Takes a Loss

Reavis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost to the Oak Lawn Spartans at home by a 67-52 margin. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 536th, while the Spartans are ranked 144th).

Reavis' defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Oak Lawn, they pushed their record up to 19-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Coming up, Reavis will face off against Plainfield Central at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Reavis is facing Plainfield Central at the right time seeing as Plainfield Central is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Oak Lawn, they have already played their next matchup, a 68-51 loss against Riverside-Brookfield on the 8th.
