Sierra Lutheran lost to Pyramid Lake back in September of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Falcons breezed past the Lakers to the tune of 64-18. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Falcons have posted against the Lakers since September 17, 2016.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Gianni Gabriel and Scott Schroder. Gabriel rushed for 130 yards and four TDs on only 12 carries while Schroder gained 189 total yards and three touchdowns.all of that, rushing production came thanks to one massive run Another player making a difference was Lyric Williams, who threw for 169 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Sierra Lutheran, racking up 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Williams, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

The win was the third in a row for Sierra Lutheran, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Sierra Lutheran will head out on the road to challenge Coleville at 1:00 p.m. on the 13th. As for Pyramid Lake, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Mineral County at 7:00 p.m. This will be the Lakers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
