After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Robert C. Byrd, Philip Barbour was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Lincoln Cougars by a score of 4-1. The win continues a trend for the Colts in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won seven in a row.

Grant Harris spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on six hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, Slaton Harris was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Philip Barbour's victory bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Lincoln, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-13.
