Softball Recap: Mamaroneck Comes Up Short

Mamaroneck lost against Ursuline back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers lost 11-3 to the Koalas. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mamaroneck saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Lourenco, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Those RBI marked the first that Lourenco has brought in this season.

Mamaroneck's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Ursuline, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mamaroneck will venture away from home to take on Rye Neck at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ursuline, they will head out to challenge Hackley at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
