Basketball Recap: East Boston Takes a Loss

East Boston suffered their biggest loss since December 18, 2024 on Friday. They were beaten by the Durfee Hilltoppers 72-41. The Jets have struggled against the Hilltoppers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

East Boston's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Durfee, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Coming up, East Boston is taking a road trip to take on St. Mary's at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Durfee, they will be playing at home against Arlington Catholic at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. Durfee is facing Arlington Catholic at the right time seeing as Arlington Catholic is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
