Basketball Game Preview: Bountiful RedHawks vs. Northridge Knights

Bountiful is 6-0 against Northridge since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Bountiful RedHawks will head out to take on the Northridge Knights at 5:15 p.m. Bountiful is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.3 points per game this season.

Last Friday, Bountiful was able to grind out a solid victory over Viewmont, taking the game 63-50. The win made it back-to-back victories for the RedHawks.

Bountiful got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mae Johnson out in front who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 13 boards. The dominant performance gave Johnson a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Milika Satuala, who went 6 of 14 on her way to 15 points in addition to five assists and five boards.

Meanwhile, Northridge opened the new year with a less-than-successful 53-42 loss to Roy. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bountiful's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points per game. As for Northridge, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Bountiful took their win against Northridge in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 56-35. Does Bountiful have another victory up their sleeve, or will Northridge turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
