There's no place like home for Pewaukee, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Pius XI Catholic Popes with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The Pirates not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 4th (when they won 3-0).

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Pewaukee was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-13, 25-13.

Mia Hudson paced Pewaukee's offense, picking up 11 kills. Hudson got some help from Hannah Padilla and her 14 assists. Hudson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Nomi Cayabyab and Zoey Bucio certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Cayabyab had ten assists and four digs, while Bucio had ten digs.

Pewaukee is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Pius XI Catholic, they dropped their record down to 12-11 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Pewaukee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Manitowoc Lincoln on the 26th. As for Pius XI Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Dominican on the 26th.
