Volleyball Recap: Roseburg Comes Up Short

Roseburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the La Salle Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2019.

Among those leading the charge was Eleanor Baker, who had 13 digs. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Roseburg's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for La Salle, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Roseburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against West Linn on the 11th. As for La Salle, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against McDaniel on the 11th.
