Basketball Game Preview: Glacier Peak Grizzlies vs. North Creek Jaguars

The Glacier Peak Grizzlies will face off against the North Creek Jaguars at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Glacier Peak knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully North Creek likes a good challenge.

Glacier Peak is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest defeat since December 21, 2024 on Tuesday. They were dealt an 85-58 loss at the hands of Woodinville. The Grizzlies have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, North Creek came up short against Lake Washington on Tuesday, falling 66-46. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Kangaroos are ranked first).

Glacier Peak will have to contain Seirat Bhullar as she made an impact in North Creek's last game. She posted 21 points. Bhullar's evening made it six games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Madison McGill, who had nine points.

Glacier Peak's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for North Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 17-8.
