Canton-Galva won the last time they faced Centre and things went their way on Saturday too. The Canton-Galva Eagles took down the Centre Cougars 58-39. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Olivia Carlson, who went 6-for-12 en route to 15 points and six rebounds. That was a full 38.5% of Centre's points, marking the third time in a row Carlson has posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryleigh Jones, who had nine points and seven boards.

The win got Canton-Galva back to even at 9-9. As for Centre, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-15.

Canton-Galva wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 52-28 victory against Lincoln on the 17th. As for Centre, they have also already played their next matchup, a 37-21 win against Solomon on the 17th.
