Lovington hadn't done well against Alamogordo recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Wildcats walked away with a 3-1 win over the Tigers. The victory was nothing new for Lovington as they're now sitting on three straight.

They hit Alamogordo with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alejandro Mendoza, Brandon Banuelos, and Juan Pichardo.

Lovington now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Alamogordo, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
