Alexandria not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 12th (when they won 15-3). They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Detroit Lakes Lakers. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Cardinals' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

The victory made it two in a row for Alexandria and bumps their season record up to 7-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.5 runs over those games. As for Detroit Lakes, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Coming up, Detroit Lakes will take on St. Cloud Cathedral at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alexandria will be paying especially close attention to the Lakers' matchup: after the Lakers face off against Alexandria, they'll take on Alexandria again on Friday.
