Basketball Recap: Juneau-Douglas Falls Short Against Ranked Palmer

On Saturday, Juneau-Douglas faced Palmer in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears fell just short of the Palmer Moose by a score of 66-64. The Crimson Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Moose apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

Juneau-Douglas' loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Palmer, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Colony the next time they take the court. Palmer will head out to face Colony at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Juneau-Douglas will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
