Willows waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Pierce Bears get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The Honkers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

The team relied heavily on Clint Girard, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Brett Baber, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Willows always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Willows' win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Pierce, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-14.
