Softball Recap: Goshen RedHawks vs. Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies

Goshen had lost three straight on the road, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 3-6 to make it four. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies. If the RedHawks were looking for revenge after losing 7-6 to the Pilgrims/Rockies when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Abi Blankenship put in work while hitting and pitching. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Blankenship was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Blankenship wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Abby Snyder, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double. That double marked the first that Snyder has hit this season.

Goshen will take on Concord at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Plymouth, they will venture away from home to face off against Wawasee at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
