Even though Homer lost, senior Austin Pies provided the team with a solid game as he earned three touchdowns and 146 yards rushing the ball.
The win lifted Winnebago to 3-5. Homer's record fell to 2-6 after the loss. It is on an unfortunate three-game losing streak.
